As Bid & Social Value Manager at Ensigna Construction, I lead the delivery of strategic, high-quality tender submissions across frameworks and direct awards within both public & commercial sectors — covering everything from planned/reactive maintenance to complex capital projects. I ensure every bid is tailored, technically robust, and aligned with client needs across sectors including education, healthcare, local authority estates, blue light, and heritage.My dual focus is securing sustainable growth through competitive bidding and embedding meaningful Social Value into every project we deliver.Working closely with Directors, project teams, and consultants, I manage the full bid lifecycle — from opportunity tracking to writing, programme methodology, and post-tender clarifications. Alongside this, I design and deliver bespoke Social Value strategies that reflect local priorities and create measurable outcomes for communities.Key achievements include: • Securing successful tender wins from £500 to £8m+• Embedding Social Value through apprenticeships, student placements, and SME engagement • Enhancing our partnership with London South East Colleges (LSEC) to deliver a rolling programme of placements, site visits, and talks • Driving Ensigna’s partnership with Bromley Council’s Mentoring Scheme — connecting our team with young people for one-to-one support and confidence building • Supporting ISO 9001 and CIOB Chartered Building Company credentials through continuous bid improvementFrom job creation to mentoring, materials donations to college engagement — I bring a purpose-led, people-first approach to every aspect of my role.
