Working on a team of developers whose main responsibilities are the creation, maintenance and support of enterprise applications.• Working in an Agile environment utilising both SCRUM and KANBAN methodologies.• Working with Operations and Service Management teams to managing application releases and ensure systems and infrastructure are fully operational at all times.• Working closely with the testing functions to ensure all products are fully tested, and all UAT and Pre-production environments are managed correctly.• Working with business analysts to understand the business requirements, and provide solutions and applications to suit• Working with technologies like VB.NET, SQL Server, T-SQL, Team Foundation Server, HTML, Service-Now, etc• Understanding of the Sofware Development Lifecycle• Work with external vendors where required and ensure smooth on-boarding of software if required• Ensure all source code is fully managed in Source Control• Contribute to new ideas and help drive the technology stack forward.• Adhere to appropriate departmental and company procedures and policies (change control, security, auditing, incident management etc)• Contribute to new ideas and help drive the technology stack forward.
