SDN white box solution for data center networks, Development of HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) for next generation ASICs, Testing HAL with ASIC model using python scripts in docker, QoS: dot1p preservation/marking across multi-pod, debugging and analytics (d3.js and mongoDB), full-isolation of end point groups, Microsegmentation of end points, Flood within encapsulation & Proxy-Arp across encapsulation.SDN Application Development: Involved in writing applications that interact with cisco devices using CISCO OnePK to collect device specific data, which can be analyzed by heuristics algorithms. This will be used by controller to perform service quality based re-route.End-to-End QoS: Complete QoS ownership from requirements gathering to design to implementation to front ending QoS Support, and handling all customer CAP cases; Responsible for Design and Implementation from scratch of these QoS features: Ingress/Egress MF classification, flow/aggregate policing, marking, queuing, buffering, WTD, WRED, Control-Plane Policing(CoPP), Optimized Layer 4 port matches and table-maps in data path for proprietary CISCO ASIC with CISCO IOS and IOS-XE as underlying operating system.Design and implementation of MPLS and Multicast components in next generation ASIC: L2VPN Xconnect, Hot-Standby Pseudowires, Multi-Segment Pseudowires, multicast for ether-channels. Involved in design of Adjacency management and packet replication for L2/L3/L3-Mcast/MPLS VPN/resiliency(TE-FRR) applications in data path for proprietary CISCO ASIC with CISCO IOS and IOS-XE as underlying operating system.Complete ownership of stack management in a distributed system based out of next generation chipsets. Work areas include stack manager communication, stack interface driver, IPC Tx/Rx, distributed platform dependent design and infrastructure development, in an agile environment following scrum process.Involved in numerous high visibility customer escalations which I have taken to closure.
