ABOUT GARY WILSON

I am a Technical Leader within the IBM Client Engineering team - providing speed-to-value and innovation for our clients. We are a \"demonstration and innovation team\" that prove IBM\'s technology and services through co-creation. More than 85% of clients say innovation is a priority, and it\'s our job at the IBM Technology Garage to help our clients use proven methods and technologies to help them innovate, and improve both their business results, and their own customer\'s experiences. We are an experiential team, leveraging Design Thinking and the IBM Garage Methodology, and co-creating custom prototypes and minimal viable products with clients, helping them validate technology and solution approaches that leads to real, positive business outcomes. As well as leading this team, I also personally engage with clients on subjects including cognitive computing, AI, chatbots, visual recognition, natural language understanding, low-code application development, machine learning, cloud computing, predictive and social analytics, IBM Watson, IBM Cloud, Design Thinking, and IBM Garage Method. I have an MBA (Distinction) awarded by the Open University, and hold a First Class Honours degree in Computer Science.
