Reporting to QA Director, the QA Lead involves accurate test planning and execution of web-based HR management and benefit administration application on Azure cloud. The position requires providing test estimates, test case writing, testing webpages and APIs, providing feedback on UI/UX and assist in troubleshooting issues.Effectively lead a team of 2 overseeing HR impacting solutionsOwnership of assigned release items in the testing of the web-based HR management and Benefit Administration application. Application is in Javascript, HTML and CSS.Utilize GitLab for project management, issue reporting, test status and estimation.Collaborate with Product, Development and QA to ensure proper test coverage for assigned items.Create/update test cases and execute runs in Test Rail to provide accurate test status to management.Execute tests effectively to have minimal to no fallout from the release (zero new product issues).Perform API testing of third party integration using swagger and web application. Utilize browser developer tools to investigate issues and provide meaningful input to development team.Provide feedback to Product on user experience and UI design.Attend team huddles (product, development and QA).Deploy daily builds using Octopus.
