Here I enjoy a challenging and varied role, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and holds full responsibility for the creation and continued execution of a seamless service delivery proposition across HSBC Global Asset Management UK Ltd. within this capacity, I develop and implement robust and commercially viable strategies to deliver processes and people efficiencies at a best-in-class price-point whilst ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction whilst managing all day-to-day operational activities. I hold overall responsibility for a diverse and cross-functional (CASS Oversight, Regulatory Reporting, FCC Ops Support, Rebates Processing and Service Provider – Transfer Agent relationship management) team of 5 direct reports ( & 5 indirect reports). I also have oversight & governance of 65 clients across Institutional & Wholesale Operations and approx. investors within the HSBC UK OEIC Fund Range, with approx. £29 Bn AUM over 40 funds, which the transfer agency is outsourced to external Service Provider, Northern Trust. Within this role, I have continued to play an active leadership role in the annual CASS external audit and multiple internal Compliance Monitoring & Internal Group audits across business operations functions covering FCC and Regulatory reporting. During my time here I provided key direction and leadership within the development of the HSBC Pensions Master Trust proposition, this included building out the operating model (Pension Administrator & Investment Platform). I also played an integral part in the submission of the Systems & Processing Questionnaire to the Pension Regulator and was successfully authorised in December 2019. A key element of my role is to ensure the accurate and continuous service delivery to the highest standard whilst still maintaining cost effectiveness through overseeing the coaching of operational staff, developing key strengths within quality control and task scheduling.

I am a successful Head of Business Operations with extensive experience in managing diverse operations and leading a multi-functional workforce. As a manager, I am comfortable developing beneficial relationships with stakeholders at all levels and have in-depth experience with all the differing aspects of large scale management, including; budgeting, people-management, resource management and compliance. Perhaps the most fulfilling part of work has been developing teams to take care and pride in their work. I strongly believe in valuing the contributions made by individuals as this encourages genuine commitment. As a manager, I have delivered impressive commercial success. My ability to think strategically and plan `outside of the box` coupled with extensive business development knowledge would allow me to adapt to most senior management roles and I am certainly motivated by overcoming challenging strategic issues and operational complexities. I make use of my interpersonal and negotiation skills on a daily basis and I also have a broad range of production management knowledge and problem-solving ability. I consider a real strength to be assessing existing processes and making changes to improve efficiency and cost savings. Although I am very much a team player, I am also an independent thinker, able to utilise new technology and `best practice` to maximise productivity and deliver results. My personal maxim is to strive for excellence and I strongly believe in leading by example.
