As a Fellow of CIPS, I have enjoyed over 12 years in the procurement profession. Experienced in running and over seeing multi million pound OJEU procurements, to commercial strategy and SRM strategy, my career has spanned most of the major areas of spend from a Government perspective (excluding utilities). I have held various roles including Head of Commercial Services, responsible for all third party spend and now focusing on delivering the IT requirements for the 2021 Census. Throughout my career I have built excellent relationships with peers, stakeholders, customers and suppliers alike, putting relationships at the heart of delivery has been my ethos which has been fundamental to my career successes.The success that the work I have overseen to enable the organisation\'s IT transformation has meant colleagues and I have been been requested to work with other government departments helping develop strategies for sourcing and procurement purposes and providing strategic advice to board members.
