ABOUT GREGORY GALANT
Gregory Galant is cofounder and CEO of Muck Rack, the leading provider of AI-powered PR software for how brands and agencies work. Thousands of organizations worldwide, including Google, Pfizer, Golin, Zapier and Duolingo, rely on Muck Rack. Journalists use its free tools to showcase portfolios, analyze news and measure story impact. He is also co-creator and executive producer of The Shorty Awards, honoring the best of social media, with winners including Lizzo, Trevor Noah, Conan O’Brien, Issa Rae and NASA. In 2025, Greg and his team pioneered Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) with the launch of Generative Pulse, the first tool helping brands shape their presence in AI-generated content across ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. GEO is emerging as the next frontier in brand visibility, and Greg is recognized as one of its earliest advocates. A frequent speaker and contributor on social media, marketing, PR, entrepreneurship, remote work and journalism, he has presented at SXSW, Web Summit, Harvard Business School, Le Web, SaaS Open, SaaStock and The International Journalism Festival. His columns and perspective have appeared in Fast Company, Fortune, Forbes, Poynter, PR Week, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, among others. In recognition of his impact, Greg has been named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year®, one of BusinessWeek’s “Best Young Tech Entrepreneurs” and included in the Provoke 25. Muck Rack was named “Best PR Software” by PR Week in 2024 and 2025, and ranked on the Inc. list of America’s fastest-growing companies for four consecutive years (20••••25). It has also been recognized multiple times as a “Best Remote Company to Work For” by BuiltIn and Quartz. A lifelong entrepreneur, Greg founded an Internet business at 14 and launched the Venture Voice podcast in 2005 to share lessons from successful founders. Guests included leaders from Twitter, LinkedIn, The Vanguard Group and Brooklyn Brewery. He has mentored startups in the TechStars accelerator and is a member of YPO, the Page Society and EO. Greg holds a BA in Philosophy from Emory University. After being rejected by countless secret societies, he secured membership in X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram’s exclusive first name club — follow him at @gregory.
