Gael Karomba is a founder of Happy Haven, a mental health organization that provides direct support to adults with intellectual disabilities. Since its inception in 2018, Happy Haven has grown to operate over 20 group homes and employs around 200 staff in the Auburn-Lewiston area, state of Maine USA.Alongside his work at Happy Haven, Gael is a savvy real estate investor with a portfolio of residential estates and multi-units in Auburn-Lewiston. He\'s a member of Bigger Pockets, the largest real estate investing forum in the US, where he shares knowledge and experience with other investors.His commitment to the community is reflected in his role to serve as a board member on the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, where Gael and other members\' responsibilities include building strong business relatinoships, legislative duties which include monitoring and advocating for legislation and policies that affect local businesses, communicating with elected officials and government agencies in the efforts to promote the interests of the local business community.In 2020, Gael started Legacy Invest in Rwanda, an educational media organization that promotes creativity and innovation with a mission to support entrepreneurs and creatives in realizing their full potential.Gaël is dedicated to advancing Rwanda\'s entertainment, sports, and tourism sectors by providing unparalleled support and essential resources to artists and athletes. This commitment is exemplified by the development of Kigali Universe, a premier sports and entertainment complex that launched in June 2024 in Downtown Kigali. Kigali Universe serves as a vibrant hub for creativity and athleticism, driving tourism and cultural growth in the region. Additionally, in early 2024, Gaël invested in UGB, a professional basketball team in Rwanda\'s League 1, further demonstrating his dedication to fostering sports excellence.Gael holds a Master’s degree in Statistics with Computer applications and as a certified financial coach and business strategist. Through his professional services and social media platforms, he inspires, educates and motivates others ( young professionals ) to achieve financial success and reach their entrepreneurial goals.
