ABOUT GABE ROSSITTER
Hi, I’m Gabe I’m passionate about creating experiences that bring people together. Whether it’s a live event, a production set, a broadcast moment, or a piece of content, I’m always thinking about how sound, visuals, atmosphere, and timing shape how something feels. I’m a fourth-year RTA Media Production student in Toronto and currently a Production Assistant intern at Impossible Studios, supporting both on-set and pre-production workflows across commercial and branded productions. I’ve also worked in communications and digital content, most recently with Psoriasis Canada on national awareness campaigns, as well as on-camera and social content projects with DateNight. My background in live and broadcast production began at Bayshore Broadcasting, where I worked as a Producer and Board Operator. That experience taught me how to stay calm in fast-paced live environments, troubleshoot quickly, and communicate clearly when every second counts. Outside of school and production work, I co-run FREQUENCY, a student-led live events brand where I coordinate venues, book talent, manage promotion, and perform as a DJ. I enjoy shaping the energy of a room and collaborating with teams to turn a regular night into something memorable. I’m also the founder of NRTHLGHT Festival, an emerging electronic music festival launching in Owen Sound. The project brings together artists, production partners, and the local community to create a large-scale music experience on the waterfront. Building NRTHLGHT has given me hands-on experience in event development, sponsorship outreach, production planning, and building partnerships with industry professionals. Earlier in my career, I founded Belong, an apparel brand supporting youth mental health. What started as a simple idea grew into a community-driven project that helped shape my interest in purpose-driven work and creative storytelling. I thrive in collaborative environments and am drawn to projects that connect people through culture, media, and shared experiences. Always open to meeting new collaborators and learning from others in the industry.
