ABOUT FRKOSMAS KALLIS
I was born and raised in Livonia, Michigan, growing up serving as an Altar Boy and being positively impacted by the ministries of the Church, especially GOYA, Summer Camp and the CrossRoad Institute. I earned a BA in Religious Studies from Hellenic College in 2012 and an MDiv from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, graduating with High Distinction in 2014. I married my wife Anna, also a Holy Cross Graduate, in 2013. Upon graduation from seminary, Anna and I lived in Thessaloniki for 6 months, visiting holy sites and studying Greek. We then returned from Greece in January, 2015 when we joined the parish staff of SS. Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church as the full time youth director, a position I held until 2018. At the end of 2018, I was hired as the Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries at the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago, my current ministry. I was ordained to the Holy Diaconate in October of 2015 and to the Holy Priesthood in March of 2016.
