I work as a Civil and Commercial Mediator across the UK and internationally as well as provide coaching and facilitation services to individuals and organisations. Having trained as a barrister, I mediate across dispute types working with individuals, commercial parties, charities and public bodies at all claim levels from employment disputes or civil claims through to multi-million pound commercial disputes. In December 2024, I was named Civil and Commercial Mediator of the Year at the National Mediation Awards - the highest award in UK Mediation. In my organisational work, I work with individuals and organisations at senior levels on conflict management, executive coaching and cultural change. I frequently work with executives and trustee boards as well as charitable organsiations. Prior to setting up my own practice Frederick Way Mediation in 2025, I worked for 13 years at CEDR (the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution) as a Mediator, Lead Trainer and Senior Dispute Resolution Consultant, working with clients globally on dispute resolution. I was also formerly the Head of the CEDR Foundation, leading CEDR\'s charitable initiatives. As well as working with clients directly, I am a UK Panel Mediator at CEDR and also work as a Lead Trainer with CEDR. Finally, I have a special interest in the arts and cultural sector and volunteering.
