ABOUT FRANNY XI WU
I work across housing, real assets, and public-interest finance, focusing on how housing and infrastructure get funded and built under political, capital, and regulatory constraint. My experience spans homelessness response, anti-displacement efforts, community-based ownership models, and public housing development — giving me an end-to-end view of how housing solutions are governed, financed, and scaled. I focus on capital structuring and institutional strategy, translating policy goals and community priorities into durable delivery frameworks. Alongside practice, I conduct applied research on land financialization and fair housing implementation.I also engage in advisory and service on affordable housing, decarbonization & resilience retrofits, and place-based impact investment. Always glad to connect with practitioners across all sectors and geographies on the mechanics of steering institutional resources toward the highest utility outcomes for housing abundance, urban sustainability, and inclusive growth. franxiwu.com | f•••••••@alum.mit.edu
