Developed a comprehensive methodology for determining the Facility Ratings Baseline process in compliance with NERC FAC-008-5 standards. Worked closely with Engineering and Construction, Transmission Asset Planning, Transmission Lines & Substation Maintenance, Protection & Communication Maintenance and Transmission Planning employees and Compliance Manager to coordinate and determine the most limiting component that comprises each of DSW WAPA Facilities (transmission lines).• Led the implementation of the Facility Ratings Baseline process for each facility ensuring that all equipment was identified, measured, and compared to drawings/diagrams/specifications and Facility Equipment Lists (FELs). Documented discrepancies and made appropriate changes to diagrams and FELs. Established program development, management, and implementation to ensure that project schedules, and resources to ensure timely completion of the baseline process. Provided regular updates to management on project progress. Prepared WAPA Facility Ratings Presentation.• Examined and assessed 72 sites flagged for Transmission Line Clearance discrepancies, prioritizing two key areas: Safety and NERC compliance to mitigate potential financial penalties. Reviewed data pertaining to sites categorized under Risk Level 3 & 4 clearance issues with a specific emphasis on pinpointing safety hazards and comprehending clearance challenges. Subsequently, conducted on-site inspections to ascertain vertical clearance levels under typical operating conditions. Prepared NERC Clearance Issues Report.
