As the Lead CRC for the VERDI study (Protocol ID #21-508) under Dr. Huma Rana, I oversee a multi-center randomized control trial enrolling 750+ patients to identify effective methods for educating cancer patients about hereditary genetic testing. I train study staff across Dana-Farber Cancer Institute satellite sites and the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey on study procedures and research data systems. Additionally, I played a key role in developing and maintaining the VERDI Study REDCap database (using PHP and JavaScript). Through this work, I’ve gained hands-on experience navigating Epic daily, supporting data validation, and helping design workflows that enhance data accessibility and provider decision-making.Recently, I was appointed Lead CRC for the NEST study (Protocol ID #22-657), a collaboration with Nest Genomics aiming to enroll 200 patients. This study focuses on incorporating the Nest Genomics software platform and genetic testing data into Epic (EMR).
