Research & Innovation Department.Main activities. 5 - PM of “CARMENTA PRIMUM FUGA” (CARMENTA PF) project. The project CARMENTA PF (where ELT is consortium leader) will design, prototype, and test a new generation of Self-Protection system, that will increase the survivability of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. The system will be able to face a wide and heterogeneous spectrum of current and evolving threats in the operational area, and to select the proper reaction mode. The project is the second phase of the Project EDIDP AIR-SPS Carmenta and aims to design, prototyping and testing of such new generation system. It includes an important fight test campaign and the development of a digital model of each subsystem for simulation analysis. 5 - PM of ELT contribution to “EU NAval Collaborative Surveillance Operational Standard” (E-NACSOS) project (EDF initiative).The European Naval Collaborative Surveillance Operational Standard (E-NACSOS) project aims to ensure superiority at sea of EU naval surface vessels while securing the EU naval surveillance sovereignty by developing novel protocols, interfaces and target architecture enabling to tackle new and asymmetric threats from Anti-Air-Warfare / Air & Missile Defence domain. E-NACSOS will improve the ability to identify, classify and track those threats- PM of ELT contribution to “European Initiative for Collaborative Air Combat Standardisation” (EICACS) project (EDF initiative)- PM of \"Zenithal Jammer for Anti SAR\" project- PM of ELT contribution to “LAnd TActical Collaborative Combat” (LATACC) project (EDF initiative).
