ABOUT FOO MING LI
I\'ve spent 10+ years building products that have to prove themselves in data before they scale. My career has taken me from driving Prime Day engagement for Amazon\'s subscription business, to building marketplace products for UK consumers at AnyVan, to now leading the digital transformation of Maersk\'s freight platform across three global portfolios. Each chapter has sharpened the same conviction: the difference between a good product decision and a great one is whether you designed a way to know you were right. At Maersk, I own LCL, Air, and Customs portfolios globally. I introduced A/B experimentation as standard practice in an org that wasn\'t built for it, connecting product decisions directly to P&L outcomes and building the commercial discipline to prove causation, not just correlation. What started as a logistics digitization challenge is becoming something more interesting: working at the intersection of workflow automation and AI to rethink how freight operations can actually run.At Amazon, I led Prime Day product strategy for India, shipping cross-functional programmes for Prime members to engage and discover their benefits. Working across product, engineering, and data science, both locally and with worldwide leadership, I developed the ability to move fast and keep commercial outcomes front and centre in a complex global org.I\'m increasingly focused on what AI actually changes for PMs, not just theoretically but practically. Right now, I\'m building an Executive Assistant and Product brain using Claude Code and Cursor. Not because it\'s a gimmick, but because I think the best way to understand how AI reshapes workflows is to use it in your own work, find where it breaks down, and figure out what judgment it still can\'t replace. That\'s the mindset I\'m bringing to my product work too.I believe the PMs who matter in the next decade won\'t just be the ones who put \"AI\" on their roadmap. They\'ll be the ones who understand the product design decisions that make AI actually useful, and can tell the difference between a real capability and a demo. I\'m actively building toward that.If you\'re working on product-led or data-led problems where evidence beats opinion, or thinking about how AI fits into your product org without the hype, let\'s talk.
