With over 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, I am an Embedded Software Engineer dedicated to designing and validating high-performance real-time systems. My career is built on a deep technical foundation in C/C++ and a passion for low-level software that bridges the gap between hardware and high-speed functionality.Currently, I am a Firmware Engineer at Texas Instruments (via Ignitarium), where I lead the design of FreeRTOS-based firmware for high-speed DisplayPort branching devices. My work focuses on the intersection of security and performance, specifically implementing inter-chip communication protocols for HDCP authentication across DP and FPD links to ensure secure content transmission.My technical expertise includes:Linux Systems: Extensive experience in Linux kernel and device driver development, including PCIe and custom DMA drivers (KMD/UMD).Embedded Fundamentals: Proficient in board bring-up, bootloaders, and Board Support Package (BSP) development for ARM SoCs (i.MX6/7/8).RTOS & Protocols: Hands-on experience with OpenRTOS, FreeRTOS, and Integrity RTOS, alongside protocols like DisplayPort, SDIO, SPI, I2C, and UART.System Debugging: Skilled in navigating complex system issues using GDB, core dump analysis, and Tracealyzer.Beyond the technical details, I pride myself on being a consistent contributor who drives quality firmware releases and collaborates effectively with hardware teams to bring new chip designs to life.
