ABOUT FIONA YANG

I’m a senior at Killarney Secondary School and the founder of the Vital Vision Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting eye health and supporting those affected by vision-related challenges. Through this work, I’ve combined my passion for science with a commitment to meaningful community impact. I also volunteer with GoGivers, helping lead initiatives focused on youth empowerment and social change. Outside of academics and service, I study music theory through The Royal Conservatory of Music, which continues to shape my discipline and creativity. With a growing interest in biology and healthcare, I’m driven to pursue a future where science and service come together to make a difference.
