ABOUT FAUZIA TABASSUM
Civil Engineer at Binnies (RSK Group) and founder of Enviropreneur, where I analyse climate technologies through a real-world, systems-thinking lens. Most environmental technologies sound promising on paper. Far fewer deliver at scale. Enviropreneur is where I explore that gap, analysing how climate and infrastructure technologies actually perform in the real world. Through long-form content on YouTube and Substack, I focus on durability, scalability, system behaviour, and unintended consequences. The goal is simple: move the conversation from what sounds promising to what actually works. Alongside this, I bring a professional background in civil and environmental engineering, currently working in the UK water sector with Binnies (RSK Group). My experience spans infrastructure design, hydraulics, structural analysis, and risk-based asset assessment, grounding my content in real engineering practice rather than theory alone.I hold an MSc in Civil Engineering (Environmental Systems) from UCL as a Commonwealth Scholar, and a BE in Urban Engineering from NED University. Previously, through Enviropreneur (Pvt.) Ltd, I supported sustainability-focused ventures with research and evidence-led content, helping translate complex environmental technologies into clear, credible narratives. I’m particularly interested in: • Climate and energy infrastructure • Storage technologies (thermal, mechanical, electrochemical) • Water systems and resilience • Where promising technologies fail and why I value rigorous thinking, honest analysis, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. If you\'re building, investing in, or operating climate technology, or simply want a grounded conversation, feel free to connect.
