As a Black, Muslim woman, I understand the complex layers of identity and how they shape our experiences in society. My lifelong commitment to community service began in my childhood, actively volunteering in various initiatives that have deeply informed my professional journey as a registered social worker.With over seven years of experience, I specialize in supporting refugees, young adults, youth, and children in the Greater Toronto Area. My practice is rooted in strength-based and anti-oppressive approaches, focusing on mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-confidence, and self-esteem. I utilize a variety of therapeutic models, including Narrative Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.I am passionate about fostering healing, resilience, and personal growth in my clients.
