ABOUT FADEK TAKI
I strongly believe that a learning experience should be just that – an experience. As with every amazing experience in life, learning experiences should also be exciting, memorable, and impactful. I don’t just design courses, I design experiences. Ones that remind learners of their full potential and help organizations achieve their goals. By starting with action mapping, I can identify if learning is needed and if so, the type of learning that best fits the desired outcome. Using software such as Microsoft Word or PowerPoint, I create a storyboard or prototype to plan and organize the learning experience which is then developed using authoring tools like Storyline, Rise, or Vyond. Throughout this process, I work with my team, including subject matter experts (SMEs), to refine and improve the project and ensure accuracy in content. The field of instructional design and eLearning development gives me the opportunity to be creative, use my skills, and help others expand their knowledge and abilities. With instructional design and eLearning constantly evolving, I am always learning how to use new tools and create more purposeful learning experiences. My experiences as an educator have shaped me. Designing learning material and facilitating learning experiences has taught me the importance of diversifying the way knowledge is presented, applied, and evaluated. I enjoy creating learning content that meets the needs of multiple learning styles, shows consideration for diverse audiences, and empowers learners.
