I am a senior technology and product leader with over 30 years of experience in video compression and video systems, and more than 25 years in the media and technology industry. I currently serve as Senior Vice President of Product & Marketing at V-Nova, where I lead product management, marketing, and professional services, working at the intersection of standards, productization, and real-world deployment of advanced video technologies.At V-Nova, I have been directly involved in the development of two international standards: MPEG-5 LCEVC and SMPTE VC-6, contributing across standards work, software implementations, and hardware enablement. My work spans the full lifecycle of video technologies—from algorithmic design and system architecture through to commercial deployment—across broadcast, streaming, social media, pixel streaming, and emerging media and AI applications.I have also played a key role in the ratification and deployment of TV 3.0 in Brazil, supporting a nation-scale rollout of next-generation broadcast technology. In parallel, I have been involved in Immersive XR/VR experiences and AI acceleration projects, extending video compression and data processing techniques into new formats and computational paradigms.I am a named inventor on multiple patents in video and AI systems, with contributions covering hierarchical video coding, multi-codec systems, and signal enhancement techniques.
