ABOUT FABIO ORTOLANI

I have over 30 years of experience in the world of telecommunications, where I have held various roles, always demonstrating flexibility and a strong aptitude for change: in the years spent at Vodafone I moved from the administration of Unix systems, to the integration and maintenance of mobile radio networks, to design of microwave networks up to the optimization of GSM & UMTS networks, always covering roles in the management of even complex teams. In my last experience at Vodafone I held the role of Field Manager for Central Italy, managing a team of around 70 technicians located throughout the area: in this role I paid maximum attention to all aspects related to workplace safety. Over the years at Ericsson I held coordination roles for teams that dealt with network integration for various mobile radio operators, the acceptance and validation of new software and hardware versions and the management of second level specialist support; finally, I was responsible for the team that dealt with the sizing and budgeting of the Ericsson Service Factory and for the team that managed all the security documentation linked to the creation of a telecommunications network. In 2021, with the creation of EXI Spa, I took the opportunity to further demonstrate my flexibility and aptitude for change, holding the position of Human Resources and Legal Manager, where I was able to address and explore all-round resource management issues in a company with around 250 employees: hiring, training, growth, payroll, litigation, etc,
