Supervise, train, and mentor a team of underground miners, providing guidance and support toensure efficient and safe mining operations.• Monitor and coordinate underground mining activities to achieve production targets whileoptimizing resource utilization.• Coordinate equipment allocation, maintenance, and repair to ensure reliable and efficientequipment performance.• Plan and oversee drilling and blasting operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols andproductivity standards.• Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment performance, and shift reports forreporting and analysis purposes.• Implement quality control measures to ensure that mined materials meet specified qualitystandards.• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost-saving measures, and operationalefficiencies within the underground mining operation.• Ensure compliance with mining regulations, environmental permits, and company policies relatedto underground mining operations.• Be prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents that may occur during underground miningactivities, following established emergency protocols.• Foster effective communication and collaboration with other mine site departments and optimize overall mine site operations.Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage shiftingpriorities in a dynamic mining environment.• Explosives Handling: Coordinating drilling and blasting activities entails managing the handling & storage of explosives, which requires strict adherence to safety protocols.
