You’ll miss out on your most exciting work.” I’ve approached my entire career—which includes investment banking, and roles in tech, broadcast media, and economic development—with this philosophy in mind, and it’s placed me in the middle of challenging, satisfying, and memorable experiences. Running OnPurpose keeps me in lock step with entrepreneurs, the lifeblood of any city, helping them make meaningful connections with their customers through marketing, business development, and customer experience. From working with the team at BGE Indoor Air Quality Solutions to create and activate an integrated marketing program, to building a modern trade and investment brand and strategy at Wood Buffalo Economic Development, I work with B2B organizations to operationalize their brands and deliver on the experience they want to provide their customers. For me, it always comes back to entrepreneurship—both supporting other businesses and running my own. My first foray was a quick serve restaurant, and now I’m co-creating Field Notes, where we\'re unconventional spirits that share stories of culture and place using high quality ingredients. Our first spirit—Sweet Pea Amaro—is the first commercial spirit in North America fashioned from distilled field peas, and it takes you through the wonders of the Canadian Prairies with its unique ingredients. Jaya Chai Liqueur is a modern take on a longstanding South Asian ritual.
