Hi, I am Evelio, a mechanical engineer who, for more than 30 years endeavored to leave a remarkable impact on the hospitality industry through my expertise and innovative solutions. Throughout my career, I strived to maintain, install and implement innovative upgrades to mechanical systems, infrastructure and room-product, designed to enhance the guest experience and optimize operational efficiency in hotels, resorts, and other hospitality establishments.I began my journey in mechanical engineering after graduating with a Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University. I initially worked on different engineering projects in various sectors of the facilities and construction industries but soon found my passion for hospitality-related ventures.Today, I am a strong, seasoned leader who have led teams of engineers of all sizes, helped them develop their skills and foster their passion for this trade. My mentorship played a significant role in nurturing the futures of many Directors of Engineering throughout the hospitality sector. As I reach this giant milestone of 30 years in the industry, I hope my legacy shines through the many hotels and resorts that have benefited from my expertise, and I am grateful that my contributions to sustainable and guest-centric approach to innkeeping, have become a benchmark for modern hospitality engineering. My dedication to elevating guest experiences in this ever-evolving hospitality world has rewarded me with the opportunity to touch the lives of those people whom I have been so privileged to humbly serve and influence. I am enthusiastic about exploring new frontiers in engineering, innovation, and sustainability and look forward to their application in this transformative hospitality landscape.
