ABOUT EVAN MONDEBELLO
I am a Heart Failure ICU Registered Nurse at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. In the HFICU, I have had the pleasure of taking care of critical patients with durable Left Ventricular Assist Devices, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy, Impellas, as well as postoperative heart and lung transplant patients. I am precepting/orienting new graduate nurses and am involved in UPC committees to decrease CLABSI/CAUTI occurences. This unit has given me the opportunity to utilize my charismatic personality with the patients and their family members as well as honing in on my critical thinking to make quick decisions with our tenuous patients.
