Head of the FSR Practice at Baker Italy. I handle the regulatory and DCM work of Baker in Italy. I am an expert in European financial and insurance regulations, such as UCITS, AIMFD, MiFID II, Prospectus Directive, Solvency II Directive, Basel Payment Services Directive 2, Electronic Money Directive, and in domestic regulations issued by the Bank of Italy, the CONSOB, and the IVASS. I regularly assist financial players in relation to the provision of regulated services and the offer of financial products, and I am often involved in complex cross border reorganizations of regulated entities. Most recently, I have been active in the payment service sector, providing assistance to major payment services providers on recent regulations, such as the PSD2, and the interchange fees regulation.I have extensive experience in capital markets transactions, with a particular focus on the debt side (EMTN, standalone bonds, liability management, both domestic and Euromarket). I regularly assist major financial institutions in the context of debt capital market transactions, acting both on the part of the issuers and the dealers, and have advised on some of the most significant debt issuances in the Italian market.
