I help organisations create and improve procurement functions, with transformational success across more than ten businesses, including Christie’s and Hovis. I enhance profitability and mitigate risk by rapidly identifying opportunities and implementing procurement strategies, working closely with stakeholders to achieve their goals and building high-performing teams that deliver measurable results. This approach has consistently achieved increased average savings by 220% and stakeholder feedback scores always exceeding 85%.My unique experience in leading both outsourced managed services and consultancy clients has given me a comprehensive understanding of the strategic and operational facets of procurement, empowering my passion to drive transformations that consistently surpass business objectives. I’m passionate about driving impactful change in businesses by transforming procurement functions into best-in-class operations. I take pride in showing stakeholders and clients how procurement can help them surpass their business objectives without creating obstacles or slowing project pace. Key achievements include- Christie\'s: achieved transformation of low performing brownfield function in a non-mandated decentralised business to best in class procurement operation reporting into the Global Finance Director. Over-achieved across all KPIs including savings, senior stakeholder feedback and management of key projects which achieved 100% performance related fee as a result- Hovis: reporting into the COO, I managed the outsourced indirects procurement function. I recruited a high performing team who were able to very quickly deliver on the outputs of the opportunity assessment and over perform across all agreed metrics - savings were increased from £500k per annum to £1.7m, spend under contract was increased from 35% to 70%, key stakeholder feedback was consistently over 85% in the first year. Hovis then further outsourced directs procurement to HD as testament to the outstanding results achieved- Virgin Care: I conducted a skills assessment of the existing internal team at Virgin Care as well as the maturity of the procurement operation. My recommendation to the CFO was outsourcing procurement which included a number of organisational changes to achieve the desired results. Outputs were transforming a tactical buying team to a strategic procurement function with clear strategies, teams were up-skilled to best practise procurement and savings increased from £900k to £2m per annum.
