ABOUT EUGEN WINGERTER
I am professor of business law at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts. My expertise in research and teaching lies in particular in competition law, including competition economics, company law, commercial law and contract law. As a lawyer and business economist, I conduct interdisciplinary research at the interface between law and economics. As a lecturer, I want to prepare students as well as possible for professional life in business. I therefore design my teaching to be practice- and application-oriented. As member of Mayer Brown\'s Antitrust & Competition Practice Group in Dusseldorf, I am advising German and international clients on all issues relating to German and European competition law. I am focusing on merger control, cartel investigations and regular advice related to competition compliance matters and competition economics.
