Esther is an energy professional whose work has been deeply shaped by her upbringing in Mali, where early exposure to energy poverty instilled a lifelong commitment to equitable access to essential resources. She holds a Master’s degree in Energy and Earth Resources from the University of Texas at Austin, with interdisciplinary training spanning engineering, geosciences, business, and policy.At GTI Energy, Esther has contributed to large-scale energy initiatives, including a $240 million U.S. Department of Energy proposal, co-authoring peer-reviewed research on hydrogen and climate impacts published in Nature Communications Earth & Environment and Progress in Energy, developing industry collaboratives, and leading cross-sector stakeholder engagement.
