ABOUT EMILY SIMS
From an early age, Emily’s life has revolved around food. Her first memories are helping her mom in the kitchen, she started packing her own lunches in middle school, and she wrote her college application essay about brown rice. After college, Emily jumped at the opportunity to enter the CPG industry joining the US team at Quorn Foods. Emily eagerly rolled up her sleeves to pitch in wherever needed. She began to whet her palate with brand marketing initiatives like starting the brand’s US Instagram page, managing the consumer services process, and building an in-store sampling ambassador program. Emily began to realize her passion for bringing brands to life.In 2018, Emily accepted a role created for her at global boutique food & beverage consulting firm, Green Seed Group. She was brought onto the team to design marketing programs for growth-stage international food brands. She worked closely with clients from Greece, UK, Spain, and Denmark on demand-creation activations. Emily honed her global business perspective, her collaborative leadership approach, and her ability to quickly become an expert on new brands and categories. In her time at Lindt & Sprüngli USA, Emily eagerly brought her entrepreneurial spirit to the iconic brands of LINDOR and GOLD BUNNY. She mastered the art of diving into POS data while nibbling on chocolate at her desk. And now as Senior Brand Manager at Stonewall Kitchen, Emily brings her extensive industry experience to this legacy, Maine-based specialty food brand. Still packing her lunch most days, Emily enjoys exploring the mountains of New Hampshire and sharing her love of food by cooking for friends and family.
