This experience complements my work as a Product Designer by providing direct exposure to user behaviours, usability challenges, and everyday product interactions.Key responsibilities include:• Supporting customers across key retail journeys including product discovery, checkout, returns, and Click & Collect collections.• Observing how customers interact with digital tools such as self-checkout systems, payment interfaces, and online order collection services.• Assisting customers in resolving issues with digital and in-store systems, gaining insight into common usability challenges.• Identifying recurring friction points in product interactions and adapting support approaches to improve clarity and ease of use.• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth store operations while understanding how digital systems integrate with the in-store experience.

ABOUT ESHAN GUPTA
I’m a Product Designer with 3+ years of experience designing end-to-end digital experiences across mobile, web, and emerging XR/VR platforms.I specialise in turning complex problems into intuitive, scalable products, combining user research, interaction design, and visual design to deliver measurable outcomes.Previously, I worked as a Lead UX/UI Designer at Synkcode (Dubai), where I designed enterprise dashboards, platforms, and applications for government clients including Dubai Customs, Dubai Trade, and Dubai Police. My work focused on simplifying complex systems, improving usability, and enabling efficient decision-making at scale.More recently, during my MSc in UX Design at Loughborough University, I explored how mobile and VR can be combined to improve healthcare experiences, designing a rehabilitation system that increased engagement through immersive interaction and behaviour-driven design.
