ABOUT ERIN LOONEY
I am currently an associate with the Vendor Management Office at Janus Henderson Investors, specializing in third-party risk management and the use of artificial intelligence to promote efficiencies and operational success. Prior to this role, I was a member of the State Street Global Advisors Asset Stewardship Team, specializing in market data and research, and stakeholder engagement and outreach (shareholder relations). My experience has strengthened my ability to analyze market trends, determine leaders and laggards based on live data, and also to create novel materials for public dissemination. Prior to Asset Stewardship, I was an analyst with SSGA’s Portfolio Strategy - ESG data and research team. In this role, I performed stress tests and scenario analysis based on critical factors, and aggregated data from multiple providers to inform SSGA’s proprietary rating system. In this technical role, I further developed hard skills such as Excel, and Tableau, to streamline essential day to day business activities.These past few years have been incredibly educational, and have contributed to my identity as a driven, efficient and communicative young professional.
