WORK HISTORY
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist @Center For Mindful Psychotherapy
CA, US
I provide therapy as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) through Center for Mindful Psychotherapy, offering telehealth therapy throughout California as well as in-person therapy in Berkeley, CA.I work with adolescents, teens, and adults. I specialize in longer-term therapy for folks who are struggling with constant worry and big, overwhelming emotions. This can look like anxiety, depression, neurodivergences, and the aftermath of developmental trauma.I am warm, compassionate, and highly relational in my work—that means that our relationship as a client and therapist is real, and we can use what\'s happening between us for the work. I pull from relational, somatic, psychodynamic, and various other modalities. I am trauma-informed, neurodivergent affirming, and LGBTQ+ affirming.I graduated from the California Institute of Integral Studies with a Masters in Integral Counseling Psychology, where I also served as a teaching assistant for the Introduction to Trauma course for two semesters following graduation. I have also taken the Foundations course in Relational Somatic Healing, a trauma modality I continue to actively train in.Supervised by Laura Gardner, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

ABOUT ERIN FON
I\'m a former tech worker turned therapist who loves working with people who feel things really deeply. Do you cry at the smallest things? Snap at people you care about? Worry endlessly about things that haven\'t even happened yet? Maybe you feel numb when you think you should feel something, or overwhelmed by emotions you can\'t name. You might notice the same painful patterns showing up in your relationships over and over—choosing unavailable partners, pushing people away, feeling like you\'re never enough. I specialize in long-term, relational, depth therapy for adults healing from developmental and relational trauma. This means we explore early attachment wounds and childhood experiences that shape how you relate to yourself and others today—and how those patterns can change. In therapy, we build a real relationship where we can look at what\'s coming up in your daily life, your past, and between us in the present moment. This is the deeper work. Not a quick fix, but lasting change. I\'m direct, I\'m warm, and I\'ll meet you where you are—while also being honest when something\'s worth looking at more closely.Learn more at erinfontherapy.comRegistered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #143401Supervised by Laura Gardner, Licensed MFT #53622
