As a member of the Corporate Human Resources leadership team, reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Human Resources, I provide strategic HR partnership for multiple business units across the Pet Segment. My client group covers over geographically dispersed employees (executive, salaried and hourly) within the Central Life Sciences’ Professional brands business unit, the Central Specialty Pet business unit (bird/small animal/aquatics/reptile), our International division (Interpet), the National Sales team, and Central Pet Distribution. My team includes 7 direct reports and a number of indirect reports. Operating as a true generalist, my role is focused on senior level talent acquisition and onboarding, employee development and performance management, fielding escalated employee relations issues and bringing them to resolution, compensation planning, management coaching, and developing my team to ensure they have the tools and skills to successfully support their businesses.
