LaunchDarkly isn’t just a leader in feature management — it’s the first scalable feature management platform. Feature management allows development teams to innovate faster by fundamentally transforming how software is delivered to customers. With the ability to gradually release new software features to any segment of users on any platform, DevOps teams can standardize safe releases at scale, accelerate their journey to the cloud and collaborate more effectively with business teams.Today, LaunchDarkly deploys peaks of 20 trillion feature flags each day, and that number continues to grow. Founded in 2014 in Oakland, California by Edith Harbaugh and John Kodumal, LaunchDarkly has been named on the Forbes Cloud 100 list, InfoWorld’s 2021 Technology of the Year list, and the Enterprise Tech 30 list.

ABOUT ERIK ECCLES

Building is at the center of everything I’ve done. Be it a team, product, or revenue, it’s what I crave. Life is an adventure and I am thankful to continue to work with people that seek success over ego. My experience in technology reaches across verticals and industries from consumer to media, collaboration and SaaS, and marketplaces. I am currently building and learning with friends while advising and investing in other driven entrepreneurs. I am lucky to have had both success in my own companies such as Jumpcut (acquired by Yahoo! 2006), Versly (acquired by Cisco 2011) and Urbandoor (acquired by Airbnb 2019) and in the product and design team’s I’ve led at both Cisco (Launching Webex Team and their Collaboration Cloud 2014) and Airbnb (Launching the Airbnb Friendly Apartments Marketplace 2022).On the investing side I am happy be an early believer and seed investor in LaunchDarkly (Edith and John are rockstars) along with a host of companies still growing.Beyond all this, you can find me in the mountains having fun with the family…
