I’m part of a global team of communications professionals at AtkinsRéalis: a world-class engineering services and nuclear organisation with the aim of engineering a better future for our planet and its people. With a strong focus on (but not limited to) defence, security, cyber and aerospace, I manage and execute internal communication strategies and plans for up to multilingual employees across the UK & Ireland, supporting global business targets. That means everything from offering strategic advice to our leaders and employees, writing newsletters and producing videos and podcasts, to organising events that bring people together both virtually and in person. I’m also an expert at using AI tools like Copilot to help me work smarter and make our content more impactful.Collaboration is a big part of what I do. I work closely with colleagues from across the business, offering advice on tricky comms challenges and helping teams communicate clearly and confidently. I also coach others to build their skills and grow in their roles.Beyond the day-to-day, I help shape regional plans that support our global inclusion strategy. I create content that gets people thinking about topics like wellbeing, inclusive design and intersectionality, and I support nine Employee Resource Groups across the region to help drive a culture where everyone feels they belong.Over the past few years, AtkinsRéalis has picked up a number of awards for its inclusion efforts, including the Platinum Clear Assured accreditation. It’s something we’re proud of, and it reflects the work we’ve put in to make this a place where people can be themselves and thrive.
