I joined Boutinot French owned production in 2004.As a winemaker, I have initially been dealing with sourcing, making, blending wines from the South of France and Rhone Valley; Enriching the French wines portfolio, with various new cuvées, domaine wines and dedicated project.In 2008, I took the responsibility for sourcing wines from South America, which allowed us to develop and offer a wider range of wines, from Chile and Argentina.In 2010, we did the acquisition of a property in the village of Cairanne, in the Rhône valley, France. “Domaine Paul Boutinot” became the first French property. We have now developed a superb range of wines, mainly Grenache based, that have a worldwide success. In 2014, I became head of wine for Boutinot Limited and got involved in other exciting missions putting on rails new teams and new projects. We have settled the Wildeberg property in Franschoeck, South Africa, since 2017;The team is now producing breathtaking cuvées made from pretty old vineyard!We are now taking off and developing sales!We have also been developing an English Wine project with Henners Vineyard in Herstmonceux, Sussex, since 2017. Sparkling wines are still the most important part of the production with an increasing quality. Such a fantastic journey!Last but not least, we are now making sure of the take off for Heaphy vineyard in Nelson, New Zealand! This has been our new challenge since 2022!Finally, and very importantly, we have a team based in France and in the UK who is covering production, sourcing and project across the world …. From California to Chile, including Argentina, Australia, and Eastern Europe, we have a desire to have no limit with the wines projects we are building so that we can deliver to our clients the best qualities, offers and proposals for their portfolios.To be continued!
