I have made a career of digging the ball out of the dirt and delivering big hits in clutch situations-> Working for the Russian Army in Kosovo-> Counter Insurgency Operations in Iraq-> Vessel Management Solutions for the BP Deepwater Horizon Response-> Real Time Drilling & Completions Technology for Off-Shore DrillingIn these situations, I have assumed leadership positions in multiple roles-> Infantry Platoon Leader / Army Operations Officer-> Technology Delivery Lead / Product Manager-> Program / Project Manager-> Change Management / Business Development LeadExposure to multiple cultures, industries, and functions has afforded me truly unique perspectives and context from which to quickly diagnose problems, develop and implement fit for purpose solutions. Books that I think that everyone should read include->\"Atlas Shrugged\" by Ayn Rand->\"Blink\" by Malcom Gladwell->\"Many Lives, Many Masters\" by Brian L. Weiss, M.D.Teachers that still influence the way I approach problems today include-> Chris Bruhn, Physics-> Colonel Bob Stapleton, Economics-> Dr. Damodar Gujarati, Econometrics-> John Nagl, Foreign Relations-> Leigh Hafrey, Professional Ethics-> Thomas Malone, Organizational DesignSports have always had a great influence on and played a huge part in my life. Growing up in a coaching family and playing sports all the way through college, I learned how to treat people equally from all walks of life, the importance of understanding your role and supporting the team, and the importance of hard work, a competitive spirit and desire to win. I have a blast coaching my kids in sports.The best position for me on the roster is as a high functioning role player, loyally supporting the coach, ensuring the stars shine bright and helping the team win championships.
