ABOUT EMMA NICHOLAS
I am an associate in the family team at Knights. I specialise in all aspects of family law and relationship breakdown, including divorce, financial arrangements between spouses and cohabitants, private law children cases and nuptial agreements. I act for clients involved in issues relating to the contact arrangements for their children. I have been instructed in cases involving allegations of alienating behaviours and domestic abuse. I have advised clients in complex matters where there have been fact finding hearings and allegations of harm against the children. I have experience in cases involving internal and external relocation, the appointment of ISWs and R16.4 guardians and s91(14) orders.I also have experience in dealing with complex financial arrangements. I specialise in Armed Forces pensions on divorce and have worked closely with the White Ensign Association, the Royal Naval Association and Veterans Outreach Support. I often act for clients who are in the Armed Forces and MOD, have previously served or their spouses. I am a member of Resolution, and co-chair Hampshire YResolution.
