ABOUT EMMA BENNETT GIGG
Head of Digital Marketing at Torchbox supporting charities and non profits. Our work spans organic search, paid media, google ad grants, social and beyond.I specialise in organic search for the charity sector, including quick-response humanitarian appeals, consulting for health and medical organisations & using search data to provide real-world user insight. I now lead a talented team of specialists across Paid Media and SEO, who have a huge range of skills and experience in the sector. My passion is with charities and nonprofits, but over the past 11 years I have worked in digital marketing both agency-side and in house across a number of industries, including Tech B2B, SaaS, Elearning, Public Sector and Ecommerce, and have international SEO experience in 8 languages. Outside of work, I spent nine years running a Leeds-based educational charity, delivering subsidised tuition to local children. I’ve held a wide variety of voluntary roles in different charities for young people across education, volunteer management, governance and inclusion.My main causes of personal interest are grief and bereavement support, mental health and access to education (particularly for working class kids & adults).
