Year 2: Joined the Solution Architects team, a multidisciplinary group which use Systems Engineering approaches to aid the business across many aspects. Usually involved in early system design and bids, the team has a varied workload as they often act as internal \'consultants\' to teams within the business who require short-term specialist help. Year 1- 1st Rotation: My first rotation saw me working within Systems Engineering in a compact team on an ECDP Integration rig, writing and completing tests for the control system display. The rotation provided a focused background on ETCS and the ECDP project- 2nd Rotation: With the ETCS Freight Onboard team, spanning Systems Engineering and Design on workstreams required to fit Freight classes with ETCS Onboard Equipment- 3rd Rotation: Core Valley Lines Project Engineering, gaining an insight into the delivery of conventional signaling projects on the lines heading from the Cardiff Area. Training Completed: APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (SCQF Level 6), Basic Signalling Technology, Siemens Products and Systems Overview, 100 Basic Principles, Introduction to Fixed Telecoms, Technical Report Writing, Business Influencing Skills for Graduates, Signal Works Testing Module 5.
