The first “sale” I ever made wasn’t for money — it was convincing my classmates to let me swap seats so I could sit next to the new kid. By the end of the week, we were friends, and I’d unknowingly learned my first lesson in sales: people don’t buy products, they buy connection.That belief has shaped every role I’ve had. Whether running my own events business, working in retail, or supporting clients in legal settings, I’ve built a career around understanding people’s needs, crafting solutions, and communicating them in a way that inspires action. In events, that meant pitching and closing bookings. In retail, it meant upselling in a high-traffic store.
