Direct enrollment and retention initiatives for a college of undergraduate students from 8 academic disciplines in the College of Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services, and Information Technology (CECH)- Manage the college\'s annual first-year and transfer orientation programs, serving 700+ new students and their guests each year- Provide strategic planning and oversight to the implementation of early intervention, proactive advising, and academic recovery programs to increase retention of first-year and academically vulnerable students- Serve as subject matter expert for advising technology, productivity tools, and student information systems, and provide training to faculty and staff on how to maximize systems for advising- Redesign student enrollment initiatives, contributing to record high first-year retention and overall college enrollment- Engineer technology solutions to automate advising processes, analyze data, and improve advising functions- Coordinate and write office-wide advising communication plan to deliver proactive academic advising information- Manage academic support programs for first-year and academically vulnerable students, aligning with current research and best practices in student success and retention- Utilize Slate, PeopleSoft, and Civitas Inspire to track student engagement, identify at-risk students, and inform strategic advising interventions- Conduct the college’s annual student needs assessment, analyze results, and make recommendations for new academic, financial, and mental health programming- Supervise, train, and independently oversee a team of 4-6 undergraduate student workers who manage the front desk for an office of 20 professional staff- Oversee the college’s emergency aid and bill relief funds to award over in financial aid
