I am an experienced fundraising, communications and engagement professional with 20 years of experience in the third sector and higher education. My career is marked by a passion for developing student-focused initiatives that enhance widening participation, equity, and access to higher education. I have a proven track record in relationship management, excelling in cultivating and stewarding donors and other stakeholders, and securing funding across various revenue streams including grassroots giving, legacies, trusts and foundations, major gifts, and corporate partnerships.As a leader, I have successfully devised and implemented comprehensive fundraising strategies, managed large-scale campaigns, and led diverse teams to achieve significant organisational goals. My expertise in digital communications, stakeholder management, and donor engagement has driven impactful campaigns and fostered meaningful donor relationships which have translated into new key student support funds. Additionally, my various roles at the University have expanded my skills in alumni engagement, demonstrating my commitment to fostering strong connections within the University community.I thrive on coaching and motivating teams, having effectively managed and supported both small and large teams and my hands-on experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, has streamlined processes and enhanced our fundraising capabilities.
