ABOUT EMMA MARTIN
I am a Quantity Surveyor with 18 years experience in the construction and property industry. I completed a Quantity Surveying Degree from the College of Estate Management, Reading in 2012 and carried out a dissertation into the effects of BIM on the quantity surveying profession. I have a wide project experience in many construction sectors including education, housing and commercial developments. I am interested in the evolution of the construction industry and feel as a young professional it is our challenge to drive the digital innovation agenda. I successfully completed my RICS APC in May 2015 to become a Chartered member of the RICS.I joined Arcadis in 2019 and became an Associate in 2022 now leading the South West property QS team.In January 2024 I stepped into the role of Chair of South West Women in Construction (SWWIC) and I am excited about rolling out a diverse agenda of networking events over the next 2 years. I am also the Matrics South West Regional Chair linking up professionals in the early stages of their career.
