Responsible for the processing and acquisition of products and services in support of day to day and long long term organization needs for fabrics and finished products from appropriate vendors for custom orders and standard programs. Responsibilities-Receive and review production logs and customer purchase orders-Work with Product Development & Project Management Teams to confirm and verify specific details for customer orders as needed-Set up and assigns fabric item numbers, components, warehouses, etc. into system-Maintain clear and concise purchase order information to pass on to the Production Teams-Prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications and pricing-Prepare and send packages with actual PO, fabric samples and care labels to vendors domestically and internationally as needed-Monitor the mill promised ship dates compared to the customers promised ship dates-Flag and forwards purchase orders that will not meet customer promised ship dates / will not meet the quoted lead time-Review vendor\'s acknowledgements & proforma invoices and check for accuracy.
