The web Content Management System program enables the ABC to deliver relevant digital experiences, connecting Australians with world class storytelling. A large cohort of journalists and content makers across NEWS, Regional & Local and Entertainment & Speciality teams will be able to create stories more easily across city and remote areas. In parallel with the upgrade, a new and enhanced website experience has been designed to optimise mobile devices and refresh websites. Content publishing tool created with fit-for-purpose workflows and tools housed in a robust and adaptable cloud-based platform. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: • Bridging and translating the project vision in a digestible way across all stakeholder groups. • Worked in collaboration with Business Leads, Business Partner and Program Manager to develop change and communication strategies that met the needs of the business and audience. • Worked with Instructional designer and technical trainer to prepare content makers with a bespoke learning approach with clear learning outcomes, how to guides, Wiki Support and Troubleshooting tools and help channels. • Assessing the impact of change to user workflows and practices, preparing, and supporting rollout of training program to 700 content makers; identifying risks and supporting mitigation initiatives. • Developed a communication strategy which included team briefing sessions across capital cities and rural areas. Pre-Migration, Go-Live & Post Migration comms encouraging users to START using the new system upon finishing training and supported business with change interventions needed to continue to embed learnings ongoing. • Adoption strategy developed through existing SuperUsers and SME’s who were placed through Train the Trainer to build facilitation skills and Advanced Super User training to continue ongoing consistent training as part of BAU.
